Artist Statement

'My paintings are lively and colourful mixed media collages - a spontaneous expression of my heart and soul. It is my passionate belief that creating art is about exploring new possibilities and creating new realities. I believe that creativity should never be seen as the domain of the expert and the specialist.

I have gained insight, education and friendship through designing and facilitating creative workshops for people of all ages who experience learning difficulties and enduring mental health problems. It has been and remains a privilege to work with many people, supporting them to initiate creative activity as a way of finding new solutions to problems.'
