Launches 5th April 2012

For the last 12 years I have been involved with the work of Anna Halprin and Daria Halprin and the Tamalpa Institute California. I am very happy to forward on to you the announcement of the launch of a new branch of the institute. On 5th April 2012 - Tamalpa-UK - opens its first year long training in Folkestone, Kent, England.

I feel honoured to have been invited to be Assistant Director and teach on core faculty for the new branch. State Theta Galleries will offer Tamalpa Experience Workshops on behalf of Tamalpa-UK in February (see below) plus a special screening of the award winning film, Breath Made Visible) . The new website www.tamalpa-uk.org is full of information about the programme, and I am happy to speak with you in person if you have any questions. - Audicia

If your body could speak, what would it say?

These 2-day intensive workshops are designed to give participants an experiential understanding of  the Tamalpa Work in movement-based expressive arts. Recommended as an introduction to the Tamalpa UK training programme.

The Tamalpa Experience introduces an approach that enlivens dialogue between body and imagination, life experiences and art making. Using movement, drawing, writing and improvisational performance, participants will tap into art's symbolic language to explore current life themes and generate new resources.
