environmental dances

Evoking the wild and natural wisdom of the body in relation to the Aesthetics of Nature.

95 rituals

A unique opportunity to explore some of Anna Halprin’s Iconic Environmental Scores as a way to enhance a creative interaction between the human body, imaginations and the environment. The facilitators will offer guided studio and site specific environmental explorations in creative scoring using a variety of art mediums and processes informed by the Tamalpa Life Art Process: including drawing, journaling and movement in nature to listen for the personal myths, universal metaphors and healing that reveal themselves.

As we Honour Anna through this offering we honour ourselves and the landscape we move in. This is a powerful enactment of creativity, healing and connection.
