The Body and The Land - Responding to the Call

with Suzanne Dance
and Audicia Lynne Morley

"And - teach us to listen!-
We can hear it in water, in wood, and even in stone.
We are earth of this earth, and we are bone of its bone.
-- Barbara Demming, from Thinking like a Mountain, with Joanna Macy and John Seed.

A workshop and ceremony day, exploring, facing and honouring our fear and our love, our grief and rage at what is happening to our home planet.

A space to express our feelings, and reclaim our power.
"To find the land within ourselves" -- Liliana Pechene of the Colombian Misak tribe speaking of the Plan de Vida - and to rebalance ourselves and the Earth.

During our time together we will connect with nature, reflect, and share as community.

We will creatively explore our despair and our hope through dialogue, movement and dance.

We will bear witness to ourselves and our feelings through ritual and ceremony.

We will give ourselves space for transformation, and healing thereby empowering us to take action to heal and restore our planet Earth.
